Get to Know Us
Established in 1994 by Bill Grake, Firelands Flyfishers is a group of men and women flyfishers, fly-tyers, rod builders & educators. Our goals are to educate members and the public on all aspects of fly fishing.
We are primarily based in Lorain County Ohio however members fish all over the state of Ohio and all over the country.
Firelands Flyfishers is affiliated with Fly Fishing International (FFI) and many other fly fishing themed communities and groups.
We have regular meetings, fly-tying instruction, and fishing outings. Our meetings are open to the public and are most often held at the Sandy Ridge Reservation in North Ridgeville, Ohio.
